Where can a Graduate Consultant

enjoy meaningful work,

making the world a better place?

People choose to work at Basis because they have a will to make the world a much better place. We’re humble and helpful, with a desire to be on the right side of history, to make a genuine difference. The question is, do you?

The Basics of Basis

We are an Agile consultancy with bases in London, Cardiff and The Hague. Despite being tiny in comparison to most of our competitors, we’ve been listed as one of the Financial Times top consultancies in the public and social sector for four years running. We help public services tackle messy problems, making challenging moments in people’s lives easier. View our website to see some of our work.

What will you be doing?

Join our team and we’ll support you with monthly coaching and weekly learning sessions - with the content of these sessions driven by your needs. Once trained, you will be at the heart of helping public services to solve some of their messiest problems, in a role that will see you:

·      Work with teams to design and test solutions to improve services.

·      Help design new products and services, including organising events, contributing to proposals, and helping spread the word about Basis.

·      Build trust and rapport with people in organisations and communities.

·      Conduct research and communicating your findings and hypotheses to a wide range of clients.

·      Run workshops with clients and citizens.

Criteria

You will be a curious and eager to learn Graduate from any degree discipline. Above all, you will be passionate about social impact and your values will align with our own - because skills can be learned, and experience can be gained.

Because our work in Wales has grown quite a lot in the last two years, we are particularly keen to hear from those who are bi-lingual in Welsh and English.

Are we right for you?

If you are looking for a job where you spend lots of time with colleagues in an office, there’s a good chance Basis is not a great fit for you. About 80% of our work is conducted remotely. To help us feel connected while working remotely we spend most of our time in a Virtual HQ, and once a month we come together in person to collaborate on projects, share our progress, and just to hang out.
